De La Nuez is "On the Edge!"--
His trademark has become creating artwork on the actual edges of the canvases to match the theme of each one of his pop culture themes.
The artist recently got to sit down and meet his idol, Joe Barbera, of Hanna Barbera! He presented Mr. Barbera with a hand painted "Scooby Snacks" canvas. De La Nuez was "honored and deeply touched" to meet such a legend. **Unfortunately, not long after this meeting took place Mr. Barbera passed away. "The world has lost a true creative visionary, who really began the cartoon age," says De La Nuez. Fate allowed the artist to meet such a legend, who will not be forgotten by so many, including Scooby, Fred & Barney and Tom & Jerry.

De La Nuez's list of celebrity collectors continues to grow! The celebs love him! Comedians, such as, Jonathan Winters, Martin Short, Howie Mandel Jay Leno, Gary Owens, Robin Williams, Rosie O' Donnell and many more are proud owners of De La Nuez art. The celebrity list of actors who own his work is extensive, but a few of them include Burt Reynolds, John Travolta, Paris Hilton, Pam Dawber, Robert Schimmel, Annie Duke, Maureen McCormick, Billy Bob Thornton, Noah Wyle, Melissa Gilbert, Britney Spears, Carrie Fisher, Barry Manilow, Shannon Elizabeth and the late great John Ritter. The cast of "Las Vegas" tv show are owners of De La Nuez's artwork!
The latest buzz...Ms. Paris Hilton, who seems to dictate what's HOT... bought the De La Nuez canvas "Shoe Fetish" at an L.A. gallery.

Another scoop....Legendary Barry Manilow has the "Promised Land" piece hanging in his dressing room at the Las Vegas Hilton where he now performs! It was given as a gift by one of his original backup singers when he inked the Vegas deal.
